I have been to many garages. I have been taken advantage of by most because I am a woman. Not here. They are friendly, fair, honest and your vehicle won’t sit, waiting days for repairs. They are also knowledgeable. Had some really bad shaking with my car. My old garage told me they didn’t know what was wrong with it, likely needed alignment. Took to Harry J Smith for second opinion… informed me it was driveshaft.. I have kids, that could’ve been dangerous… thankful for this garage and possibly saving mine/my family/others life!!!

I received a call this week from the owner, Randy, stating that I had refused to pay a bill a year ago. I have received several services from Harry J Smith since that time. His claim was that I had submitted a credit card for payment and then cancelled the transaction. This was absolutely not true and had never been mentioned on any of my subsequent service visits. My credit card company confirmed that no transaction was ever submitted and customers are not allowed to cancel transactions before they are posted. It was likely that the transaction had not gone through originally and was not noticed by the employee who submitted it from Harry J Smith. The accusing and demeaning attitude of the owner was bizarre and terribly rude. I was very taken aback and could never do business with them again. I have lived and worked in this area for 68 years and never not paid a bill nor had a complaint with a local business yet was treated like a liar and a thief of services. The amount was approximately $130 and when offered the payment they now refuse to take it. This was by far the most bizarre and rude interaction I’ve ever had with a business and to think it was from May, 2020 and I’ve been there for many services since then. Scary!!
